Event Medical Team and ECMO Responsibilities

114.1The Event Medical Team shall assist with the management and clean-up of blood spills. Proper isolation techniques shall be followed in dealing with such. Gloves shall be worn at all times when dealing with any blood spills by all personnel.
114.2The ECMO shall establish a biohazard policy with particular regard to appropriate receptacles for contaminated material. Such policy is to be reviewed at the IIHF Team Medical Personnel Meeting prior to the Championship.
