Training and awareness

52.1The Host shall provide mandatory education and awareness-raising activities for staff, volunteers contractors on safeguarding, which shall be approved in writing by the IIHF. This includes training on how to recognize signs of abuse or harm, how to report concerns and how to respond appropriately. The training shall be provided in advance of the event and reinforced throughout the competition.
